From Newcastle(A1 heading south):- Leave the A1 at the Consett turn off Just after crossing the Tyne at Blaydon.Turn right at the roundabout and follow the signs towards Consett. At the next roundabout(Swalwell)go straight over and again follow the road towards Consett.This road the A194 will take you through Winlaton Mill, Rowlands Gill, Ebchester, East Law and Shotley Bridge in that order. Proceed through Shotley Bridge and up the hill towards Blackhill, having passed through the main street, you will see The Cricketers public house on you right and a graveyard on yourleft, go straight on past and look for the sign that says Community Center.It is your third turning on your left opposite Clarence Gdns.

From A1(heading north):- Take the turn off for Consett and follow the signs onto the A690(west)take the Consett road A691 going through Witton Gilbert, Lanchester & Iveston in that order(approx. 11.5 mls) turn left at the next roundabout to the A692. At the next roundabout go straight over and the first left again at another roundabout,follow the road to the next roundabout( there is a lot!!)go straight over to the A694 towards Shotley Bridge minor injuries unit. As you go down the steep hill there is a sharpe right hand turn and at this point Blackfyne School is on your left. Drive on for about 30yrds and turn right, following the sign for "community Center" opposite Clarence Gdns.
